The Whisky Ambassador programme is the original accredited Scotch Whisky training course. Designed both for the Licensed trade and those seeking a comprehensive grasp of Scotch, the course gives you the knowledge, skills and confidence to talk to customers about Scotland’s national drink, furthermore improving customer experience and exponentially increasing sales of Scotland in a glass.® Having been established for a number of years in Scotland, the Whisky Ambassador’s emphasis on immersive and interactive learning has seen our courses rapidly expand to spread intimate knowledge of Scotch whisky across 22 countries and six continents.

The Whisky Ambassador is a one-day programme covering:
-The economic impact of Scotch whisky
-How, when and where it all started
-Where and how it’s made
-Nosing and tasting
-Mixers and cocktails
-Sales and customer service
-Drink less. Drink better
-Other world whiskies
-Practical and written exams

The course is in English.

The exam (30 question test and practical exercise) is in English.

Duration of the course - 1 day (training - 7 hours; exam - 1 hour)

The training is delivered by Arūnas Starkus, a graduate of the Whisky Ambassador programme and an authorised WSET (Diploma) lecturer.

Lietuvos Someljė mokykla siūlo galimybę išklausyti „Whisky Ambassador“ mokymo programą ir gauti vienintelį Škotijoje ir Didžiojoje Britanijoje oficialiai pripažintą „Whisky Ambassador“ sertifikatą neišvykstant iš Lietuvos. Jei kolektyve dirba daugiau nei pusė žmonių, įgijusių „Whisky Ambassador“ sertifikatą, kompanija įgyja teisę naudoti „Whisky Ambassador“ informacinį skiriamąjį ženklą.

Mokymo programa skirta ir profesionalams ir viskio mėgėjams. Specialus pasirengimas prieš mokymus nebūtinas.

„Whisky Ambassador“  mokymų programą sudaro škotiško viskio istorija,  viskių regionų apžvalga bei jų specifika, viskio gamyba, degustavimas, viskio pardavimas, kiti pasaulio viskiai, viskio kokteiliai bei praktinės užduotys. 

Paskaitos ir mokomoji medžiaga - anglų kalba. 

Egzaminas (30 klausimų testas ir praktinė užduotis) vyksta anglų kalba.

Mokymų trukmė:  7 val., bei 1 val. egzamino (1 mokymų diena).
